While this book is a standalone, another book by this author is ‘Bury Your Friends’.

A brief Summary
Omni Channel is rebooting their famous show, Sunset High, and the rising star Abel Miller just landed a role. Abel seems like just another budding celebrity plucked from obscurity, but he has a problem: the last time Omni Channel tried rebooting Sunset High Adam, Abel’s older brother, worked as a production associate but when Adam died during filming, no one knew how or why. Now, Abel is determined to find out what really happened, then he meets the other stars of the show—Lucky, Ryan, Ella, and the creator Lake Carter— and he realises there’s darkness beneath the shimmer of fame. They all have secrets, and it seems one of them is willing to kill to keep it that way.

To describe this book and why it was an amazing read any further, would be to spoil its events for a potential reader. So, I will leave the description simple and spoiler free.

I loved this book, the characters were interesting and so was the mystery, I definitely didn’t expect that ending when I started reading the book. I liked learning more about the characters throughout the book, each of the main characters narrated several chapters, allowing you to read their inner monologues and learn about their lives from their perspective. ‘How to Die Famous’ was difficult to put down and after finishing it, I was excited to read ‘Bury Your Friends’. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves mystery and thriller books.
