Jaqueline Wilson is a children’s author who has written over 100 books! I wonder if I will ever be able to read them all? Her first novel was written in 1969 and she hasn’t stopped publishing books yet, phew. Tracy Beaker is her most famous character but she also writes about her own life as a young girl.
Since September I have read the following books by Jacqueline:
- Biscuit Barrel
- Clean Break
- Cookie
- The Bed and Breakfast Star
- The Suitcase Kid
- The Mum-Minder
- My Secret Diary
- Jacky Daydream
- Collection Tracy Beaker
- The Lottie Project
Last week I read The Lottie Project, a story about a girl who had a Victorian project from school and wrote a diary about the life of Lottie. I liked this book as the main character was really good at making cakes.

I like Jacqueline Wilson Books because she makes her characters and books about things she likes or things and people she has seen. She says this in the books she writes about herself.
