This series contains two books; ‘Little White Lies‘; and ‘Deadly Little Scandals‘.
A Brief Summary of book 1
When 18-year-old Sawyer Taft’s estranged grandmother shows up at her door offering a six-figure contract to participate in debutante season, Sawyer realises that immersing herself in her grandmother’s society might help her uncover the biggest mystery of her life — her father’s identity. So, she signs the dotted line and prepares herself for a year of ‘makeovers, big dresses, bigger egos, and a whole lot of bless your heart’. What Sawyer doesn’t expect to find is friendship, yet she is drawn to a group of debutantes with secrets of their own. Soon, Sawyer realises that her family isn’t the only one in high society with scandalous secrets. People in her grandmother’s world are not what they seem and no one wants Sawyer looking into the past. Sawyer’s search for the truth about her past is just the beginning.
To describe these books and why they were amazing reads, would be to spoil their events for a potential reader. So, I will leave the descriptions simple and spoiler free.

Jennifer Lynn Barnes is an amazing author which can be seen throughout all of her books, including these two. I really enjoyed all the secrets and the plot twists that kept you guessing. The storylines and the characters were really interesting. I would definitely recommend these books to anyone who loves family secrets, mysteries, and plot twists.
“”Having second thoughts, Taft?”
“Sawyer doesn’t have second thoughts!” Sadie-Grace insisted from the golf cart behind us, loyal to the bone. “Sometimes, she doesn’t even have first thoughts!”
Thank you, Sadie-Grace.”
