This series contains three books; ‘Daughter of the Pirate King’; ‘Daughter of the Siren Queen’; ‘Vengeance of the Pirate Queen’.
The first two books follow the story of Alosa (seventeen-year-old pirate captain who is sent to retrieve an ancient map) and Riden (the first mate of the enemy ship that Alosa allows herself to be captured by).
The third book however, follows the story of Sorinda (an assassin working for Alosa) who receives a new task, not to kill a new target, but to captain a handpicked crew on a rescue mission.
To describe these books and why they were amazing reads, would be to spoil their events for a potential reader. So, I will leave the descriptions simple and spoiler free.
I read the first book in this series (‘Daughter of the Pirate King’) in 2024 and the second and third this January.

I enjoyed these books because both Alosa and Sorinda are strong female characters. Also, I enjoyed learning about Alosa and Sorinda’s pasts throughout the series. I would definitely recommend these books to anyone who enjoys books about pirates and magic.
