Foxy Dubois is a wily villain who needs to find a way to make money so she can feed greedy Alphonso the Alligator. Each book has a funny and crazy adventure with a wonderful cast including Tony Ravioli (Barman) and Mr Billy Bongo (as Little Norman). The story and the illustrations are set out like old black and white crime movies.

There are three books in the Foxy Tales Series:

• The Cunning Plan – Foxy Dubois is on a mission to get rich quick!
• The Road to Fame and Fortune – Alphonso the Alligator stands in Foxy’s way!
• The Great Jail Break – Foxy needs a get out of jail free card, and quick!

I enjoyed the Foxy Tales books because even though Foxy is a villain she is a really fun character. Alphonso has a fabulous moustache on the end of his snout and Foxy a wonderful beret. The illustrations are full of tiny details that gives you lots to see.

I even loved them so much that I dressed up as Foxy for world book day when I was younger.
