I have been collecting the Toto the Ninja Cat books by Dermot O’Leary for a few years. There are now three books (the next one out in 2021). I read the Totos as a bedtime book with my Mum.

The titles are ‘Toto the Ninja Cat and…’:

• The Great Snake Escape
• The Incredible Cheese Heist
• The Superstar Catastrophe

Each story is about a blind cat (Toto) and her brother Silver. Toto is a Ninja and each book involves an adventure that the two kittens have to go on. They meet new friends in their new city, and even a villain, Archduke Ferdicat, and an escaped snake with a very entertaining name. There are zoos, cheese, a pop star and many many ninja fights. The illustrations by Nick East are brilliant!

I REALLY enjoyed these books because I am always going to love books about cats and adventures. Toto is an inspiring cat, she doesn’t let her blindness interfere with her saving the day! All three books have new stories but it is best to read them in order as friends they meet along the way stay in the story. You’ll love them!
