I have read the first two books in the Shiny Pippin Series. They are:

• Shiny Pippin and the Broken Forest
• Shiny Pippin and the Monkey Burglars

Shiny Pippin is a little girl who has a mouse for a best friend. She can talk to the mouse with an ancient power called ‘Shining’. Pippin goes on different adventures using her powers for good and learning how to speak to other animals. The main characters have to stop an evil Doctor, but who is he? And why is he bad?

I enjoyed these books because they are about a little girl and feature lots of different animals. They are really funny books and the illustrations are cool! The stories are adventurous and magical.
