So far there are four books in the series:

• The Moonlight Statue
• The Lost Treasure
• The Hidden Staircase
• The Secrets Tree

The Penhallow Hall series is about a little girl called Polly, moving to London for her Mum’s new job. At night time Polly meets a ghost dog who lives in a statue on the steps to the Hall gardens. Together they go on adventures and awaken other dogs from the past. The books are adventure themed and extremely exciting.

I enjoyed these stories because lonely Polly meets lots of new friends. Polly has always dreamed of having a pet dog and now she has hundreds, even if they are ghosts. One day she meets a human ghost who does even realise that Polly can see him!
