So far there are three books in the Max The Detective series.

• The Disappearing Diva
• The Phantom Portrait
• The Catnap Caper

The stories are about Max, a cat who was abandoned by his owner. He lives in a Theatre in London where he catches mice and solves mysteries. Max has a friend, Oscar, who tells him tales about how he lost his eye ooooooooh.

Max has a meow for every occasion! He often tries to teach the theatre girls how to speak cat. VERY FUNNY!

I really enjoyed these books because I love stories about animals, especially when there are mysteries to be solved. The books have action, crime solving, friendship and even a ghost! I recommend you read them in order as the life of Max unfolds in each one. Characters that Max meets in the first book return for more adventures!
